Hassasin Djinn are somewhat darker natured Djinn. Some are VERY dark-others can be ruthless but not brutal. They are those who you can call upon for matters of Revenge or Retribution.
Hassasin Djinn are not shy about doing what needs to be done to get the results you want!
Their very name is the root of our modern term, 'assassin'. These Djinn are best kept in reserve until needed to solve difficult or unsavory tasks. Not to worry though, a Hassasin Djinn is unwaveringly loyal and devoted to their Master. That is part of their very oath sworn way.
Hassassin Genies belong to a 'Brotherhood' or Clan. They are not really classified as a Tribe because a Djinn could join this group, not necessarily be born into it. These are probably some of the most loyal of Djinn IF you earn it..
Hassasain Djinn get their name from the Hassasins (Persian: حشاشين Ḥashshāshīn, also Hashishin, Hassassin, or Hashashiyyin) of the order of Nizari Ismailis, that rose to power in the 10th century Middle East during the Crusade period. Djinn of this type often served members of this sect called 'The Order of the Assassins' and thus the name transferred to the Djinn Companions of these fierce mercenary warriors and fearless killers of political, and other adversaries. Many Templar Knights of the time also utilized Djinn of this variety.
To have a Djinn of this darker type is a responsibility. One that should be taken very seriously!
A Hassassin Djinn is for revenge-blatant, outright or sly and subtle and for protection of a more forceful or sly sort. That is what they do. These are not forcibly bound Djinn and they actually exist to serve-Djinn and Mankind both. They will take orders fairly well and not twist words or trick the holder like Ifrit and Shaitan are known to. So you do not have to worry on that. They can bring to any they target all the following and more~bad dreams, nightmares of a horrendous sort that lead to exhaustion and mental breakdown or collapse. They can affect the target's finances and business and personal relationships in many negative ways. They can cause accidents and sickness too. They do not usually push it to the point of death but serious physical harm IS a possibility.
These Djinn take no allegiance as a Tribe. They can and will work on any side. Djinn of this type, as were their Assassin Masters, used both by the Crusaders and against them during that period. They are loyal but only to those who honor them with blood. A blood oath you might say that bonds them as 'kin'.

This type of Djinn practices 'Blood Magick'. They ritualize bloodletting and believe it has great power. It is best to invoke them with a bit of your blood. A few drops only. A finger prick is fine. They undergo blood rites and offerings much the same way certain American Indians did and certain African tribesmen. Blood is Life and Power as far as they are concerned. By offering your blood you are recognized as one of their own and shown the unswerving loyalty that the Hassassins, both Human and Djinn, are known for.

My grandmother was part Indian - born on a reservation in the early 1890s-the daughter of a powerful shaman medicine man and a red haired Irish teacher sent to teach at the Indian school, she herself descended from a long line of Druid learning.

G Wells and Indian Yogi Paramahansa Yogananda.
Gram also studied in various regions of Africa with several tribal Shaman and tribal healers and in South America with a Mayan priest. She was acquainted with Chinese sorcerers and herbalists, Tibetan monks and holy men, Buddhist teachers and Indian mystics and wise men. Christians, Satanists, Pagans or Muslims, she sought to learn from and understand all. There wasn't a witch, priest, warlock, or mage she didn't seek out if she heard about their special gifts and thought she could learn from them. She used her great powers to learn and absorb much knowledge!
Gram was an amazing woman who lived a full long life - traveled the world, had many adventures, saw much and learned more. She was a psychic of awesome innate power, a healer and skilled at many of the esoteric and mystic arts of many schools of magick and ancient knowledge. She has given me the mission of passing a few of her many energetics, magickal items, and bound vessels on to proper new guardians.
