HUGE Old ENAMEL Rhinestone FLOWER BROOCH Pin CALVAIRE
This is a huge, dimensional vintage brooch with a massive mound of purple blue flowers with purple rhinestones in the center of each flower and green leaves on goldtone metal. The pin measures 4" x 4" - a literal handful, is signed Calvaire and is in good RESTORED condition. When found, the brooch was in good structural condition but the enamel color was flaking off leaving small wisps of color here and there. Larger flakes were removed and the green leaves were re-enameled. A clear gloss coating was applied to the flowers, preserving the original color that remained, making for a watercolor looking effect. All but three of the purple rhinestones are original to the piece. A real show stopper!
