Description

These stunningly beautiful sterling silver dangle earrings are designed and executed by Jero Gingsir of Bali, as with his other items, these earrings are wondrous to behold. The hand carved Cream Bovine (cow) Bone countenance seems alive with mystery and intrigue. The goddesses in these exquisite earrings are adorn with a magnificent headdress in Gems and Sterling.The central Trillion faceted cut Citrine sits atop the headdress and is protected on each side by a beautiful faceted oval Peridot and a Red faceted Garnet completes the stunning headdress  The finishing touches are the blue faceted Topaz tear drop earrings that dangle from each side of the Goddess from Bali.

The Bali craftspeople, and Jero in particular, are know for their attention to detail. Many cultures and religions through-out time, up to and including modern times, worship a goddess in one form or another. Each culture has their own depiction of what that Goddess looks like and these in this series are the Goddesses of Bali. The inner glow that emanates from within these three dimensional portraits is truly awe-inspiring.

The mundane physical dimensions of these ethereal sterling earrings are a length of 2-1/8 inches (54mm), the dangle portion being is 1-3/8 inches (34mm) in length, the width of the goddess is 1-1/8 inches (28mm), and the thickness is a large 3/8 inches (10mm). The weight is a comfortable and surprising 0.70 ounces (20 grams). The central Golden Citrine Trilliant-cut is approximately 1/4 inches (7mm) on each side.
