I got this basket at an estatesale and really know nothing about it except that it is very well made.  It is not coming apart in any way and the birch bark is holding up quite well except on one side where it is wearing off and exposing the beautiful, soft birchwood underneath.  It is an oval, 14" by 10" by 4 " high.
