• This lovely necklace is handcrafted by artists in the U.S. using natural stones and beads made from paper recycled from magazines and catalogs that otherwise would have been thrown away.

     Each year, an estimated 9 billion of the 12 billion magazines published in the either wind up in landfills or get incinerated.

• These paper beads are water resistant, but not water-proof. They should not be worn in the shower or while swimming.
• They are coated with an eco-friendly coating, giving them the feel of wood.
• The necklace is light in weight and comfortable to wear.
• The stone beads may include: metal, garnet, amethyst, tiger’s eye, goldstone, glass, wood and much more.
• The clasp is made of hammered silver.
• You will receive the actual necklace shown. It is MUCH lovlier in person than the photo can depict. It has a nice, glossy finish.
• It hangs approximately 8” long, has brown and turquoise colored beads, and other shades of blue, grey and black.
