These lovely earrings are handcrafted by artists using natural stone and beads made of paper recycled from magazines and catalogs that otherwise would have been thrown away.

Each year, an estimated 9 billion of the 12 billion magazines published in the either wind up in landfills or get incinerated.

• The paper beads are water resistant, but not water-proof. They should not be worn in the shower or while swimming.
• They are coated with an eco-friendly coating, giving them the feel of wood, and have a nice, glossy look.
• They are light in weight and very comfortable to wear.
• Other beads(besides the paper-based ones) and stone include: amethyst and glass
• The hook is made of hypoallergenic hammered silver.
• You will receive the actual, double-strand earrings shown.
• They hang approximately 3” long from the curved hook, and feature a multitude of different colors.
• The round disks on the ends of the earrings are hammered silver.
• They are for pierced ears.
