This lovely necklace is handcrafted by American artisans using natural stone and beads made using paper recycled from magazines and catalogs that otherwise would have been thrown away.

Each year, an estimated 9 billion of the 12 billion magazines published in the either wind up in landfills or get incinerated.

• These paper beads are water resistant, but not water-proof. They should not be worn in the shower or while swimming.
• They are coated with an eco-friendly coating, giving them the feel of wood.
• It is light in weight and very comfortable to wear.
• Much lovlier in person than the photo can depict.
• Stones used may include: metal, garnet, amethyst, tiger’s eye, goldstone, glass, wood and much more.
• The clasp is made of hypoallergenic hammered brass.
