      This lovely necklace is handcrafted by American artists using natural stones and beads made from paper recycled from magazines and catalogs that otherwise would have been thrown away.

       Each year, an estimated 9 billion of the 12 billion magazines published in the either wind up in landfills or get incinerated.

• These paper beads are water resistant, but not water-proof. They should not be worn in the shower or while swimming.
• They are coated with an eco-friendly coating, giving them the feel of wood.
• The necklace is light in weight and very comfortable to wear.
• Much lovlier in person than the photos can depict, with a nice, glossy finish.
• Stones used may include: garnet, tiger’s eye, goldstone, glass, wood and more.
• The clasp is made of hypoallergenic hammered brass.
