This octagon-shaped box is made of palest 'Robin's egg blue' colored porcelain china with an all-over crackled glaze to make it appear old. A thin ribbon of aqua with 14K gold accent is at the base of this box. The life-like handpainted bee's spread wings are subtle amber; its' body is soft yellow with touches of black detailing the insect's body, six legs and feelers.
