"Honeymoon Trail" In the desert the early in the morning is so beautiful, so rough and rugged, twitchy and thorny. It shelters all kinds of wildlife including Gila monsters and tarantulas. Who would want to ride a horse through this parched and prickly land? The Honeymooners of course.
Gretchen Price received her art education from both the LA Art Center and Brigham Young University where she received a Bachelor degree in Fine Art. After finishing school, she and her whole clan returned to Arizona where two more children were added to her family. During this time she and her husband lived and taught school on the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation. Gretchen developed a great love, insight, and sensitivity for the people and culture of the White Mountain Apache. She is a founding member of the Whiteriver Artist Association where recently, Tribal Chairman, Ronnie Lupe, expressed his appreciation for her paintings, saying they were masterful, wonderful and show the beauty of his reality. She and her husband, Mel, now reside in Mesa, Arizona.
Shipping a Giclιe mounted on a frame is far too costly. For this reason, all Giclιe prints are shipped rolled in a tube. A local craft or frame store can mount this quality Giclιe for a fraction of what it costs to safely ship mounted.
