This M. I. Hummel Figuine Boots was first molded in 1940. The Hummel Figurine was first known as the Shoemaker. This Hummel Figurine is a Final Issue and was permanently retired in 1998. The Hummel Figurine has a shoemaker with a set of boots and a pair of shoes. It is numbered 143/0, so I would assume it would have been in the first batch to be made. It retails for $380 according to sources I found. It is in perfect condition and has been stored away since it was given to me as a gift in 1980 because I was afraid it would get broken.
