This item is a Cast Iron Ink Well. Could be a B & H mfg. but I am not sure. This Ink Well is of a Renaissance style, Center Elks or Stag Head with Pen rest Antlers, early 20th Century. This item has damage antlers and no bottle ink wells to go with it. Some one decided to paint this item red. When you look at the base you could see that this was intended to be a black color. This item is
heavy weighing over 2 pounds. Please take a look at the pictures so that you can see the condition this item is in. Has wear from age and use. The design is very nice around the edges and feet. When in tact this item sells for around $175.00-$190.00. Awesome for the Collector or the person that likes things of the past.
