Hakone Gardens Pond in the Spring

A snowy egret stands in the koi pond, beneath the teahouse, at Hakone Japanese Gardens in Saratoga, California.  There is much to see in this living landscape...dragonflies on the stalks of grass, a turtle on one of the rocks, cherry blossoms, wisteria and a small waterfall. This Asian landscape is an original oil painting on a gallery-wrapped canvas (the sides are finished off in brown acrylic) and has been fitted with picture wire so it is ready to hang. The copyright watermark does not appear on the actual painting.
