A Japanese Samurai helmet that measures 9 inches tall and is about 9 inches diameter. Weighs 5 pounds. Made of cast iron and brass and is sits on its own red and gold silk embroidery pillow that is 10 x 9 x 2. Pillow has some fade spots. From a local collector's estate sale and is believed to be a display piece from the 1940's era. High relief casting detail is excellent on this item. Item is used and shows wear in spots as would be expected.
