More about this item
This is a set of 4 Johnson Brothers Strawberry Fair square cereal bowls, made in England. This pattern was produced from 1959 to 1973. The pattern is an ornate pattern of red strawberries and flowers around the border against a white background. Two of the bowls have no chips or cracks. The other 2 bowls have chip(s) on the underside. The first bowl has a shallow 3/8" oval chip on the underside edge and then it has a 1/2" area on the same back side that looks like it could turn into a chip. There is also a slight stain on the bottomside edge of this bowl. The other bowl has a round 1/2" chip on the backside. I decided to add these 2 since the insides still look good. There are utensil marks on these bowls and around the underside ring (where the label is), the porcelain looks greyish, like the glaze has gotten thin from wear. One of the good bowls has a pontil mark on the underside and the porcelain is discolored around it. I have other pieces for sale, so please check the other items in my booth. I usually ship by Fedex ground which includes insurance and tracking. I only ship to the United States and I charge a flat rate to the lower 48 states. I also combine purchases to give a lower shipping rate (add 1.00 to the highest shipping rate for multiple purchases). If you are from Alaska or Hawaii, email me and I can give you a shipping rate by US mail. I accept Paypal, Money Orders and Personal Checks as payment. Personal checks must clear before shipping. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Thanks for looking!
