Josh Simpson Signed Glass Paperweight Inhabited Planet

Here is a breathtaking glass paperweight by contemporary artist Josh Simpson. This is paperweight size, it is not a marble. Diameter is approximately 3 inches. I'd say this is an inhabited planet, or is it possibly uninhabited? Spaceship flies over the top of this intriguing world. Amazing paperweight to hold and behold, so easy to get lost in this sphere.

This piece is signed Simpson, with the numbers 11-145 and 98, for 1998. This paperweight rests on three applied rounded acrylic feet. It is in very good condition, but close examination shows a very teeny pinpoint size ding in the glass; does not take away from the beauty of this piece. My pictures don't do it justice; please excuse the white spots/camera glare in the pictures.
