Julio Venegas was born on September 22 1946 in Central Violeta, (sugar factory town) .
In 1969 he moved to Havana in order to initiate study in fine art at San Alejandro Art School from where he emerged graduated in 1975.While he attend the art school at night, he worked as full time salaried fine art painter for Cuban Ministry of Public Health. There he painted landscapes and decorative subjects for different dependencies of that ministry.
In 1980 he emigrated to the during the Mariel Boatlift. Rather than settle in , like many other fellow artists and writers, he moved to where he felt he could better develop his art. Venegas is a prolific artist and his work has been exhibited at many art galleries
and cultural places as Sareido Gallery, ;
Jadite Galleries, New York; Cuban Museum, Miami, Florida; Botello Gallerie, San Juan, Puerto Rico; Paterson Museum
,, ; Watherholt Gallery, , among others.
Venegas has been working on different subjects, but always the psychological factor is evident on his works. Sometimes his creations looks familiar to us and very concerned to actual social matter, and sometimes his imagination fly away and escape from our understanding.

All of our items are guaranteed. If there is a clear and significant error in the listing, we will be happy to refund the entire cost of the item plus return shipping (equal to the shipping cost paid by the buyer).
If there is no error in the listing, we will provide a refund less shipping costs. If the item was sold with Free Shipping, we will deduct the actual postage cost from the refund.
If you request a return, please notify us first. Of course, all items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received.

For Domestic shipments, we generally use USPS First Class or Priority Mail with delivery confirmation.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE:
Tracking is only available with USPS Express Mail, USPS Priority, UPS, DHL or FedeX. Regular First Class International and Priority Mail Flat Rate do NOT offer tracking. If you choose Priority or First Class you are agreeing to a NON-TRACKABLE shipment method.
First Class International mail takes 2-8 weeks. Priority International Flat Rate about 2-4 weeks; priority international regular about 1-3 weeks and express international about 1-2 weeks. . Additionally, if items have to clear customs that can delay the shipment further.
Certain countries have had extended delays in customs, including the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany and Austria.
Customs delays are beyond our control and are not included in the estimated shipping time.
