Dimensions: 15 5/8 inches x 12 1/4 inch. Verge = 1 3/4 inch Juices Depression = 3 3/8 inch x 2 1/4 WEIGHT = nearly 4 lbs before packing!!!!!
Condition: Good Vintage. No chips, no cracks, no crazing, and very little utensil usage marks. Some wear to pattern in spots and some gold gilt wear.
Lovely HUGE platter that could serve a turkey or an entire roast, with an end depression for juices to gather or to place a dip bowl. Backstamped both "Limoges France" and "Theodore Haviland France" and the pattern name "Daphne". Pattern quite understated to blend with many different services! VERY HEAVY SUBSTANTIAL PLATTER. A great addition to your dinnerware service!
