The glass lens adjustment mechanism works and you could still take these to the opera, birdwatching, or just peeking at something a distance away.
The brass could use a little polishing, the lenses a little cleaning but they are in real good shape.
The case is not in the best shape and the bottom on one side was stabelized with tape by a prior owner. The liner inside is partly torn, and the pin is off the snap. But if you are looking for a pair of mother of pearl opera glasses for your collection or to carry in your bag these are nice and stylish.
