Measures 9" H x 4 1/4" D and 5 3/4" Wide including handle

Cap appears to be a sort of plastic with silvertone overlay

Extremely nice used condition with no chips, cracks or repairs but you can see where the silvertone from the cap has worn off.  Music box works well and it has the peg where the music stops when set on flat surface, starts again when you pick it up.
