WG & Co. Limoges Darnell, 1903

This lovely WG & Company Limoges lidded powder jar was patented January 8th, 1901 and hand painted by Limoges artist Darnell in 1903.

Depicted are lovely pink roses and foliage with graduated pastel colors fading from pink to green.
Excellent age consistent condition with only minimal paint wear to handle and slight roughness to underside of lid rim from normal removal and replacement of lid, though not visible from exterior. No chips, cracks or fleabites.

Measures approximately 5" diameter x 3.75" tall to tip of handle.
