We have all seen the liquor bottle lamps at craft shows that have been stuffed with Christmas lights which look like they belong in a college dorm room. That is definitely NOT what I was going for here.

This beautiful blue tinted Bombay Sapphire Bottle Table Lamp is more refined to fit a more mature taste. I didn’t simply go out and buy the el cheapo bottle lamp kit. This is a hand-crafted item using individually purchased, quality parts such as detachable nickel harp with finial and turn-key socket. Guys of a certain age can still have fun and dress up their bar, den or office with something unique, now you don’t have to compromise on style.

When I was designing this lamp I was reminded of the old two piece hurricane style lamps which had a regular light on top and a smaller, less bright light in the bottom. I wanted to include that same functionality in this lamp. The light inside the bottle is a 15W T4 bulb mounted in a phenolic, candelabra size socket. The top socket is a nickel plated, two-circuit, turn-key, medium base socket which controls both bulbs. You may choose to have either the top or bottom bulbs on alone or together, giving you options to meet your lighting needs. Changing the bulb inside the bottle is done by simply lifting the mechanism out of the bottle and replacing the bulb. There is no hardware to take apart. (Top, medium base bulb is not included)

Style is what I had in mind when I created this lamp and I don’t profess to know yours so the lamp shade in the picture is for illustrative purposes only and not included (They don’t ship very well either). This lamp is just waiting for you to add your own personal design and touch with your lampshade, complimenting your décor.
