Lovely Old Czech-Slovakia Ceramic Swan Vase/Bowl

This realistically modeled ceramic swan with its graceful curved neck and raised wings is actually a vase or bowl. It is delightfully detailed, from the molded feathers to its gray webbed feet. Underneath it is stamped in brown in a circle "Made in Czech-Slovakia," dating this beautiful bird from between 1918 to 1939. It is also stamped "49." The swan is approximately 5 inches long and 4 inches high. It is in wonderful condition for its age, with no breaks or repairs. On top of the upper curve of its neck is a tiny black dot, about the size of a pinhead, which occurred during the manufacturing process. Swans are symbols of faithfulness, because they are said to mate for life. Think of what a perfect gift this elegant swan would be for a significant other, cradling a perfect rose or a few luscious chocolate truffles between its wings!

Insurance is required for all purchases over $100. Items under $100 may be insured at the buyer's option, but if the buyer decides not to insure, the item will be mailed with delivery confirmation (a cost of 70 cents). Texas residents must pay sales tax. I accept checks or money orders. I will ship right away upon receiving a money order but will wait five business days for all checks to clear. TO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: I will place the actual value of the item on customs forms and will not falsify government documents.
