Army Service Jacket with Insignia

 

This is a Canadian Armed Forces NCM green jacket in very nice condition. The insignia is two inverted chevrons, which is a rank of Corporal. Jacket is a wool / polyester blend.

The insides of the pockets look completely unused, and there are no rips, stains, or otherwise detrimental marks. There are two holes on the inside lining, above the right top pocket, from where an insignia bar has been removed. They do not show on the outside. All gold-coloured buttons are intact, however some of them have a bit of wear to the gold finish. A great addition to a theater or costume wardrobe!

I have no idea of the age of this jacket, nor do I know its size. There is a red M stamped on the inside label - perhaps that is the size, and a dry cleaning tag on the inside pocket. Actual measurements are as follows:

    • Chest - around jacket at base of armpit - 49 1/2 inches
    • Back length - from base of collar to hem - 34 inches
    • Sleeve - from shoulder seam - 26 1/4 inches
