Very nice heavy art glass goose. It is well made, and has no chips or cracks. Silver and black under a layer of clear glass gives the illusion of goose feathers. I don't think this is very old, I bought it at an estate auction within the last 15 years. I looked at the internet, and it said that Murano is a style of glass not a company, there are many companies that make Murano glass, but it should come from the Murano Island. Vintage companies used foil tags, but this one has a clear tag, and all I can make out is Murano, over what looks like the same word reflected. That's why I think it is not very old. I think he is just so cute, but doesn't quite fit in with my primitive country style. He is too sleek and "Citified".

I try not to list any chipped or cracked items, unless they are rare, and then I do try to let you know what the damage is. Everyday household items I list are USED. They may have some missing chrome coating, or gold & silver may be worn off, and glitter may have fallen off. There may be other imperfections that don't affect the USE of the item. This is normal for a used item that may be decades old. If you want NEW, there are plenty of shops that have NEW right by your house, and you won't have to pay postage.
