See the small card with the code on it? The seller printed that out and included it in the picture to show that they have this item in their possesion.

Gold plated v shaped mesh collar necklace, signed "Napier." Featured in the book Jewels of Fantasy on page 198 (see picture on the slide show below). In the book it is marked c. 1955. However, I found an ad dating it to 1980. This necklace is not stamped gold plated like the one in the book but it does look like it is gold plated. The way the mesh is, it reflects light in different directions really making it look like real gold. It really looks a lot better than the pictures.
Condition: A tiny bit of gold loss to the reverse of the clasp. Also, the clasp section is separating a tiny bit, but the clasp locks securely so it isn't really an issue. You most likely not even notice these issues unless I pointed them out to you. Otherwise the necklace is in excellent condition.
I have sold this necklace in pristine condition for $325 and it has sold on Madison Avenue for twice that.
That being said, feel free to make me an offer, because I'd rather make a quick sale than have it sitting around for a long time. :-)
