Violas are like violins but bigger. This Italian crafted Palatino model is our most popular in store item. It has an even tone from side to side. The strings are easily replaceable and very affordable. In the event that a string should break, simply put on any steel core string and your tone will be as good as new. This meets or exceeds all National Music Educators standards. List price $180-$360 depending on size. When purchased in our shop, all violas include full USA set-up and adjustments.
Mail orders have the violin bridge removed for safe shipment. Home adjustment will be required.

Helpful Information: When tuning your viola, please remember the strings are C, G,D, and A (Thickest to Thinnest). The easiest way to tune yourself is to buy a clip on chromatic tuner. The model we carry is $15 but there are several versions available from most any store.
