This is a handmade, knit hat with an inside circumference of 12 inches (or 30.5 cm) at the very biggest. It would fit better on a smaller head. There isn't a lot of stretch to this hat because the yarn I used is doubled. One strand is thick and warm, and another thread (wrapped around the other thread) has the fancy shaggy "fuzzy" look. It's aqua colored, so can be used for either a boy or a girl. It's incredibly warm. It measures roughly 6 inches by 6 inches when the cuff is rolled up (as shown in photos). For being my very first attempt at a hat, I'm more than happy with it. It is reversible as well, but I like the fuzzier side on the outside. It's very soft, so it won't bother baby's sensitive skin. Total weight on this cap is 1.06 oz, making it very light-weight
Of course, it would look lovely on a baby doll too! It's a tight fit, but it can fit an American Girl doll.
