Old Vintage Brass Lufkin Wood Folding Rule 72" . This fold up wooden ruler is in very used worn condition with outside numbers rubbed off, but is still a solid tool with the brass reader substituting for the missing numbers (nice engineering idea). I noticed it has a cigarette burn between inches 51 and 52. No flimsiness at the brass joints. Everything is tight including the working brass slide out. This was an old working man's tool that has seen a lot of use during it's long life. Great art deco patina, and history has saved it just for you, the artist decorator or collector.
