On The Fjaerland Fijord is part of my "Inspired By Norway" series. During one of my trips to Norway we stayed at a lovely hotel on the Sognefijord. One day we scheduled a boat tour of the Fijord, and it rained up until the time we were due to depart. As we traveled, we saw that after the rain comes a rainbow.
The painting is 39 inches tall by 26 inches wide, acrylic on stretched canvas on heavy duty stretchers, with painted sides. A frame is not necessary. The painting is signed and dated on the back. I send a letter of provenance which increases the value of the work. All my artwork is copyrighted by Eleanor Gilpatrick. Copyright is nontransferable through the purchase of artwork.
