Early 1900s potato masher.  Used for fruits and vegetables too.  The metal wires are small enough that you could consider this a masher/ricer.  Wooden handle. 

You can tell this kitchen utensil was used.  Patina commensurate with age. Overall very good condition. Very appropriate for a rustic, primitive, country decor, historical display, and for kitchen utensil collectors.
