From the 1940s is this Ivory elephant tusk carved into 6 parading elelphants in diminishing sizes with trunks laid on the preceedors back. 2 trunks have stress cracks. see photo. Striations in base tusk and end tusk point. Elephants intricately carved with striated creases of body and limbs. Tusk sits in cradle stand of dark carved wood. hand carved marks apparrent on tusk base. measures 12 x 3 x 2 inches
