How to Choose Sizes: When choosing your child's shoes, you should always measure their feet before purchasing the shoes. The easiest way to do this with a baby is to wait till they are asleep, and use a string or piece of yarn or ribbon to measure their feet (after you have the measurement on the string, then use a ruler to measure the string). Measure from the tip of their big toe to the back of their heel. It is usually best to purchase 1 size larger than their feet measure as this will give them a little space to grow into, and will extend the time that they will be able to wear the shoe. As a mom, my rule of thumb has always been that it is better to get the shoes a little big, rather than come home with adorable shoes that will never be worn because they are too small.
