See the small card with the code on it? The seller printed that out and included it in the picture to show that they have this item in their possession.
Does this picture look different than its small version did? Bonanza's "Background Burner" allows sellers to delete the background of a picture so it's easier for your eye to parse in search results. What you see here is the original picture.

More about this item

A vintage 78 rpm 10" record, c.1949-50 on the RARE red Arlington label, #201, Bill Matthews Ballardiers with Stick Evans Combo. This is a very rare and important recording to the musical history of American and early rock & roll. Side A is a mediocre ballad, very much representative of the time, "Please Give My Heart a Break"

It is side B that is fascinating! One of the earliest known uses of the term "rock and roll" as a singular and complete song title of a clearly R&B early rock song. It is very 'Bee-Boppy.' Lots more about the origins of rock and roll and earliest coinage of the term on Wikipedia. If you're not sure about the import and rarity of this item, look it up BEFORE you buy!
The music itself and the artist are not as important as the historical signfigance on this one.

Could not find any info on the artist in my limited research, sorry!

These records come from an incredible 'new-old' stock Warehouse Find- They are never played and in original covers or sleeves. This is from a record store that closed down in the early 1950s. They are still in original factory shipping cartons and have not seen the light of day in over 50 years! Records are mint, unused, unplayed. We do not guarantee the recording quality or sound quality, only the unused condition and originality. We do not play all records prior to sale or shipment.
