Roseville Clematis Triple Bud Vase 192-5 Blue. This is in good used condition with a vintage, not recent, chip on one bottom edge, barely visible in two of the photos if you look carefully. There is also a small piece of clay on one side that was apparently not removed from the greenware before this lovely item was fired, so it was glazed over, and simply emphasizes the hand crafted charm of authentic Roseville! This item was probably crafted sometime after 1933, as best I can determine after researching Roseville Pottery, which is no longer in operation.
I find it very difficult to reproduce the Roseville colors accurately in digital format. The blue bud vase is a more subdued blue-green than it appears (at least on my monitor). The sugar and creamer posted elsewhere in my booth are both “green” but the creamer is a deeper green than the sugar, so I am offering them for sale separately. If you’re familiar with authentic Roseville, you’ll understand the complexity of the colors and the handcrafted nature of these pieces. As I understand the Roseville process, each piece was created from molds, but finished individually by hand and hand painted. If it is essential to you that an item be a specific tone/hue (for instance if you are trying to exactly match a fabric), please contact me directly before purchasing the item, and I will gladly work directly with you to be sure if the item you're interested in will meet your needs. I want my purchasers to be glad that they found Lone Elk’s Lodge.
