Dan Donegan Signature Ultra
Unplayed, New in Box condition
The Schecter Dan Donegan Signature Ultra was designed by the lead guitarist for Disturbed . A serious tone monster that features a Seymour Duncan Custom Shop El Diablo in the bridge position and SD '59 humbucker in the neck position for versatile tone from high output chunk to creamy vintage, great for many styles of music. The '59 is a versatile P.A.F. type humbucker that delivers a late '50's vintage-correct humbucker sound with warm, crystalline clean tones and full, bright distorted tones, and smooth sustain. Appointments include plain enamel wire and long legged bottom plate.
Other features include a multi-Laminate Maple/Walnut neck-thru body for maximum sustain. Made from 3 pieces of maple and 2 center strips of walnut. This well balanced combination of select wood takes the bright tones of maple and adds a dark tone from the walnut strips. Often used for thru neck construction this combination lends an acoustic tone to the instrument and creates perfect string vibration transfer to the body with ultra access Mahogany and Flame Maple wings.
Also included is an Ebony fingerboard for a snappy, crisp attack with the density of Maple, but with more brittle grains oilier pores and a stronger fundamental tone than Maple. Ebony fretboards provide a tremendous amount of percussive overtones in the pick attack that mute out shortly thereafter to foster great long sustain, and Schecter Locking Tuners that feature a locking screw pin to lock the string into place for greater tuning stability. Tuner details include a 19:1 gear ratio allowing for precise fine tuning adjustments, removable knobs, threaded peghead bushing, and a 10mm diameter peg hole.
