Silver Plate Toast Rack of Gondola with Gondolier, 8 inches long, 5 OE inches high, marked “EPNS” under bow, probably early 1900’s, probably made in England, 4 slice holder, full figured gondolier stands on the back of the toast rack and is reminiscent of figures on Victorian Napkin Rings, very good condition with good plating and only a tiny corrosion spot near his left foot, figure is missing a round nut that holds one of his feet to the boat so he is a little loose, one of the more exceptional toast racks with wonderful detail and great size, probably a souvenir from a Venice trip, would enhance any collection.
