A well read copy. Considerable shelf wear on the edges and spine. Warped board corners. Corners of boards exposed. Some soiling visible on cover. Cracked front hinge. Small tears on several pages throughout the book. Light soiling visible intermitently throughout the book. Some foxing and damp stains visible inside the book. Binding cords exposed. Some dog earred page corner crease marks. Some vertical page crease marks. What appears to be a very small burn mark is atop four of the leaves. Pages were examined for completeness. This book has no missing or loose pages, or pages with large rips. Book has a pleasant scent of old paper.
Author's signature was examined under a microscope where the ink was seen to have bled into the leaf based on the pressure of the pen. The ink is not perfectly weighted into the paper and is somewhat blotchy. This is consistent with this signature being genuinely inscribed by hand with a fountain pen.
