Ferry is the ferry from Manhattan to Staten Island. (The same ferry as in Viewfinder II.) It depicts women who can be read in two ways. On one level, we see one woman as a consummate tourist and the other a typical New Yorker. But on another level they are about being engaged in life or a casual observer. Their energy tells it all. The painting is 31 (h) by 20 (w) inches, acrylic on stretched canvas on heavy duty stretchers, with painted sides. A frame is not necessary. The painting is signed and dated on the back.
