More about this item

The idea for this piece started with one of those flowers I don't know the name for but you see frequently in tropical bouquets. I wanted to reproduce it (on some level, at least), so I made one in brass. I handcut various tropical leaves and the backpiece of this pendant is a silhouette of a tropical plant as well. In the front, with the flowing organic leaves are bright stones: orange sapphire(lab created, not natural) and bright green peridot.

This piece is BIG. Not for the faint of heart. The pendant measures 2-3/4" wide by 2-1/4" long, dropping down from a sterling chain that is adjustable from 17" to 21". This piece is unique!
