Cute  Poo-Chi  Robo Dog by Tiger Electronics.  He  gets up and barks, his eyes light up, his ears go up and down, tail wags,  his mouth opens and closes.and he sings songs every so often. REALLY REALLY CUTE!
He stands almost six inches tall and is lavender and silver grey plastic. His eye shield is actually an LED screen with eyes and they make several different movements depending on Poo-Chi's mood.
He is battery operated, on three AA batteries, and he works great.

Poo-Chi (or Poochi or Poochie) is a robot dog, created by Tiger Toys after the success of the Furby.[1] It is one of the first generations of robopet toys. Poo-Chi was originally designed by artist Samuel James Lloyd and manufactured by Sega Toys. After becoming a huge hit in Japan they made a deal with Tiger Toys to distribute it in North America
