DURING THE WORLD WAR II PERIOD. Has US with anchor in middle. Would
think this would be a TERRIFIC edition to a MILITARY WARFARE
COLLECTION.

note: This might interest you. Your scope is a Navy big gun sight.
Depends on who you talk to as to exactly which guns but probably 5 inch
and larger. Saw one of these in a movie shot on a U. S. battle ship. It
was on the bridge and had been stripped of paint to the brass and highly
polished. They were probably used throughout WW II on a wide variety of
ships. When we purchased this we were told that it was on a Submarine.
No wonder my husband couldn't find any information on that. Another
great story.
