THE LACEY DOLL KIT FROM 1954 - EXTREMELY RARE!!

Vintage paper doll kit from The Kit Toy Company. This is a great find as the original box top is in pretty nice condition. The kit has 18 of its 32 outfits and 4 hairstyles. It also has what appears to be a couple of paper dolls from other kits (Little Girl and a purse). This was issued in 1954 and considering the amount of play it received, the pieces are remarkably in good condition.

With the lace up kit, the child is supposed to use the laces included to tie the clothes onto the two dolls (Jan and Lyn). Both dolls have their red wooden stands for display. Even in 1954 the Kits Inc was advertising that "their is no other dress-up dolls like these in the world".
