 This is a fantastic 1940's rayon dress.  The colors are maroon and mauve with swirl applique and copper color beads. The dress is fitted at waist. (belt no include that you see in picture) The dress has long sleeves  with turn up cuff. The dress has self covered button along the front side and it has a metal side zipper and back neck zipper. On the right it has a pocket like opening, however no pocket just open inside. We do not see evidence where there might have been one at one time. It just might be the design.  Just thought we would mention it.  The dress is in excellent condition. The Mauve on right near the opening seems to have some dirt. Very faint. We have not cleaned the dress.
