 Offered is a chic black dress from the late 40s, by Jean of California. The slim kimono sleeves are 3/4 length. The fabric feels like a coarse linen, slightly sheer and textured. The midriff flares out in a pleated peplum that goes all the way around the back and is made of a heavyweight, ribbed fabric. The skirt is straight and features a back kick pleat. Unlined and closes with a center back metal zipper.

In great vintage condition, with the exception of minor strain at the underarm godets. Please refer to the last image.
