This is a lovely 1940's purse. Fancy cut-out gold tone metal with black velvet top, handle, and bottom. The moire lined interior is excellent, however the mirror has that old lovely wear to it. It also has a cute little gathered pocket under the mirror. Included is an old Macy's receipt (not sure if it belongs to purse, however it is possible!).
This comes from the estate of one of the (former/deceased) wealthiest single women in San Francisco.

Very good vintage condition: interior mirror has discoloration, velvet has minor rubbing
