Isn't this a lovely dress, though! Such beautiful fabric, and exquisitely hand tailored. Perfect for that retro-style cocktail party!

• Vintage label: Yin Tai Ltd. Hong Kong
• Size: unlabeled (custom made) Bust measures 38"
• Fabric: Matte Satin brocade - seems to be silk, or could be rayon
• Color: a lovely taupe-ish beige
• Notched collar
• Beautiful frog closures with loops and knotted silk ball buttons
• Fitted Three quarter length sleeves
• Fitted bodice
• skirt has inverted pleats for for a slight fullness
• original self-covered belt
• Side metal zipper, that is HAND PICKED with tiny hand stitches
• Label reads: Exquisitely hand tailored in Hong Kong Ying Tai Ltd. 12B Peninsula Hotel Kowlook
• Fully lined with silk. The hem is beautifull feather stitched on the inside
• Slightly padded shoulders (thin shoulder pads between dress and lining - not removable, but very subtle.
• Another nice touch - thread loops with snaps to hold your lingerie straps.
• Just a beautiful, exotic and fine-tailored dress.
• CONDITION In excellent condition for the most part. On the belt, I can feel that the stiff innerlining has cracked in a few places - I would recommend backing the belt with grosgrain ribbon or the like, to give it support and stability. . Also, the zipper pull was missing, and I replaced it with a little hand-crafted fancy bead pull.One sleeve has two little tiny marks, that are abt 1/4" long - they almost look like stray ink marks. Believe me, though, these things are NOT NOTICEABLE, and the dress really looks fabulous - really excellent! Just trying to be very picky....and I do believe a dry cleaning would make this dress perfect and PRISTINE.
