DESCRIPTION

THIS IS A LOVELY WATER COLOR THAT I PURCHASED FROM A FLORIDA ESTATE. THE PREVIOUS OWNER WAS AN EXECUTIVE WITH THE CAR INDUSTRY FOR OVER 30 YEARS. EVERYTHING IN HIS HOUSE WAS QUALITY!! I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS PAINTING THE MOMENT I LAID EYES ON IT. IT IS A LARGE 23" BY 30" FRAMED. THE LABEL ON THE BACK SAYS IT WAS FRAMED IN A WISCONSIN SHOP AND THE PHONE NUMBER HAS LETTERS IN IT SO THIS IS PROBABLY FROM THE EARLY 1950'S. THE SCENE IS A RIVER OR LAKE ..LOVELY SUBTLE COLORS AND EXTREMELY WELL DONE. IT IS SIGNED "R. HOFER". EXCELLENT CONDITION.
