Late Victorian Sterling silver large Cockatoo bird in a branch brooch with a Ruby for an eye  heavy 14 Grams.
Beautifully made, with real life detail on the head, feet and feathers  this Cockatto brooch measures  2 3/8" x 7/8" inches at the widest point.
The brooch is marked 925 and has a  long pin stem closure that works fine.
Condition is excellent .
