VINTAGE 1930's ART DECO BAKELITE BEAD NECKLACE

Up forsale is a fine example of 1930's Art Deco Jewelry. Genuine 1930's necklace made of tangerine orange swirl Bakelite and brass. The necklace is build with 34 round beads in elegant tangerine swirl tone. Brass half round beads compose the rest of the necklace. Hangs very nicely. The Bakelite beads have a very nice surface patina and no traces of dryness. This necklace is without any damage and in excellent vintage condition. The metal barrel clasp is working perfectly. Vintage link.

This round beads of this necklace have tested positive for vintage traditional bakelite : yellow residue on the Q-tip when using 409 and Simichrome polish + distinctive vintage bakelite aroma when using warm running water.

Origin : France, circa 1930's

Dimensions :  total length = 27" - beads = 5/8 diameter.
(69 cm - 1,5 cm).
